ROVI celebrates vegetables from root to tip with a fresh focus on fermentation and cooking over fire. Our seasonal menu is created in collaboration with small-scale producers, local growers and our kitchen garden at Wolves Lane, just twenty minutes up the road. 

 

With a cocktail list that shifts according to house shrubs and seasonal spices and a low-intervention wine list with bottles from around the world. And when the weather’s on your side, enjoy a glass (or two) on our terrace.

Meet our team - Danny Sharp

 

Danny has been with us at ROVI since October 2021, where he started off front of house. After four months on the floor he found himself stood at the pass most shifts, admiring the grill stage of the cooking process and longing to step into the kitchen. He says “The first thing I did was ask head chef Neil about moving to the kitchen, with just one small problem - I had no experience”.

 

After ten months under Neil’s wing, Danny worked his way through the ranks to the front of the grill, where he longed to be so many months ago.

 

Born in South Africa, but having moved to the UK at two-years old, Danny has been in London for over five years now, since starting university. His initial passion being Music Performance and Production. In his spare time, he still loves to create music but, when it comes to Ottolenghi, what does he love the most? “I love the sense of togetherness in the company. I love what it stands for! The passion for food and hospitality we all share is so special. Plus, the food is pretty great as well.”
